The pioneer in this style of art is artist Christy Tomlinson. She has been teaching mixed media classes for years and started the "She Art" movement. Christy is a wonderful and very talented woman. I have known her since high school and admire her brave and creative soul. She has designed a beautiful line of products that can be used to create mixed media projects.
