A Coat of Arms has long been a symbol of a family’s identity and values. Originally used to identify warriors dressed in armor, each knight chose symbols and colors to represent his family or clan. These coats of arms have been passed down throughout generations.

This is a FUN activity that will spark interest in family history. My friend, Mandy, helped with a Family History Fair, and they had a table where you could create your own family crest. It was a huge hit! We tried this activity for a Family Home Evening and both kids and adults enjoyed it! This is a great activity for the whole family.
